Earthquake relief for Ecuador
Donation protected
Dear family and friends,
My name is Carolina Espinosa Noya. I am from Ecuador and currently reside in the USA. A devastating 7.8 earthquake hit Ecuador yesterday. There are 480 reported dead and thousands injured. The numbers are expected to climb. The epicenter was in the coast were infrasturcture is substandard. The damage in some small coastal towns is massive, most homes are gone, leaving people homeless. In addition, the roads are torn making access for emergency rescue very difficult.
I am hoping to create this fund and send the money directly to those in need via a close and trusted friend who lives in the area.
Money will go for basic supplies like water, food, blankets, falshlights, medicine and to build temporary shelters.
The communities most affected were already living in great poverty and are in great need of our support.
Please consider donating. Every little bit counts.
Thank you so much,
Carolina Espinosa Noya
