The Collins Family Fund

My niece April Collins passed away suddenly over the weekend. She was a loving wife and mother to five children between the ages of 8 and 19. They live in Washington, but she made a trip East so that she could attend court to try to gain custody and improve the lives of three children who were already in foster care. Shortly after returning to her fathers house after court, she collapsed and went into sudden cardiac arrest in front of her twin 8 year old boys.

April was was an amazing mother and did everything she could for those she loved. Her husband Jason is the most amazing man and father that anyone could ask for, but he cannot do this alone. We ask for any help you may be able to give them with the memorial costs(one for family in Kentucky and one back in their home state) and travel expenses to get all of them home to Washington. I will be flying out to Washington with them to help them with adjustment and hard times that are to come. Their 8 year old son is supposed to have eardrum surgery within the next two months and with COBRA costs it will be impossible to handle alone. This family needs any help you can provide and we are truly thankful and appreciative for all of the love and  prayers.

If if you are not able to help financially, then we ask you to repost this on every social media site that you can to help spread the word.

April is in a better place, but we will be grieving for a long long time.

Thank you,
Jan Thompson
