At just three months old, Aspen, a previously healthy baby, has been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and is bravely fighting for his life in the pediatric intensive care unit at Children's Hospital of Colorado.

<div>Unfortunately, his condition has worsened—he is now battling respiratory failure on the ventilator, pneumonia, sepsis, a blood infection and liver injury. Most significantly, recent MRI scans of the brain have revealed severe neurological damage.

<div>This has been an unimaginable ordeal for his parents, who are both unable to work as they remain by Aspen’s side and are anticipating a prolonged hospital stay with extensive therapy needed for Aspen in the foreseeable future.
