My name is Jacqui , I’m a mum of four children aged 10, 13, 15 and 18 — all with ADHD and autism.
My husband also lives with chronic back pain and other serious health issues. I’ve always been the one to manage the household and care for everyone, but my health has now reached a point where I need help myself.
✨ Why I’m Asking for Support: My Health, My Future, and My Fight
Hi everyone,
This isn’t an easy message to share, but I’m opening up because I’ve reached a point where I truly need help to get my health – and my life – back.
I’m currently battling several serious medical conditions that have taken over every part of my daily life. I have Stage 3 deep endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, a large hiatus hernia, and complications that cause intense abdominal pain, swelling, bowel issues, and mobility problems. My doctors have advised I need a hysterectomy and weight-loss bypass surgery to protect my long-term health, reduce the severe pain, and stop the ongoing damage happening inside my body.
Despite constant appointments, scans, and trying everything offered to me, I’m still being left without the urgent surgery and support I need. My health has deteriorated so much that simple everyday tasks have become a struggle. As a parent, this has been heartbreaking – I want the strength and energy to be present for my children, not just survive each day.
I’m fundraising to help with:
- Travel and medical costs not covered by the NHS
- Specialist consultations to finally get the right treatment plan
- Support equipment and recovery needs
- Practical help while I’m unable to work due to pain and illness
Asking for support is something I never imagined I’d have to do, but right now it could be life-changing. Any donation – big or small – helps me get one step closer to a life without constant pain and to being the mum and person I want to be again.
If you can share this or support in any way, I will be forever grateful.
Thank you for reading my story and standing with me through this fight. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your kindness and support.
