Kaylee Fighting Osteosarcoma

Aug 19,2013 was a day I never wanted to imagine as a mother or my family especially my precious 6yr old daughter Kaylee having to face the word Cancer, my daughter is a very healthy and smart young child innocent to the world and growing up enjoying life like a child should. Kaylee was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma also known as a bone cancer in fast growning bones (arms,legs and jaw) primarily known for a childhood cancer ranging from 1 day old to 16yrs of age. This cancer is not prejudice it made its home in my daughters right leg which no symptons were shown until I took her in for an x-ray because her right thigh looked swollen as any parent would be concerned come to find out my baby was suffering from osteosarcoma that ate away her right femur bone, Kaylee was rushed to have chemo starting August 26, 2013 and 12 weeks later right leg amputation which took place on November 4th 2013. This is definately something no parent is ready for and wants to go through. I have created this site so those that know Kaylee or want to know her can be up to date on her progress and see the wonderful blessings god has done for her and will continue to do.I as her mother and our family will be by Kaylee's side every step of the way,I am no longer employed which is a huge deal for us as my child deserves the best medical care and shouldn't have any worries if we have a home or vehicle to get us back and forth to her appointments and shelter when we are home resting. I have been asked by many friends and family and many have helped which we thank you with the bottom of our hearts but doing this may be one step ahead for Kaylee and our family not to worry and continue her new journey in life with the help of all of you and our God.
