Helen's Cure

To all my friends and family let me share a story that about the new experience that is going on in my life:

On March 24, 2012 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor called a Meningioma. After 3 different opinions from doctors I finally found a doctor that was able to explain enough information that I decided to do my surgery. Since I am only 32 years old and have more years to go it was the best thing to do.

On May 23, 2012 1:00pm I was rolled into the operating room at Florida Hospital South.

 As doctors started my craniotomy doctors observed that something was

DIFFERENT

Come to find out my tumor made it-self look like a "Meningioma" in which reality it was:

CNS Low B-GRADE Lymphoma

This type of Lymphoma is very rare at my age. Usually this type of Lymphoma is diagnosed in people over the age of 50 years old, Also with all different tests that have been performed we also have found out that it had penetrated my bone marrow.

On June 27, 2012 I will be traveling to SHANDS Hospital in Gainesville, Florida for a reevaluation from doctors, and start a possible regiment of treatments.

This has been an experience that I don't wish upon anyone

A total 360 life change

I have a wonderful 4 year old boy named Ayden that I look at every day and wonder if I am going to be able to see him grow

He asks me every day

"When can he have a little sister? "

And at this point it breaks my heart that I can't answer that question for him.

A wonderful Fiance that has been my backbone since day one God Bless
