Hector's Transplant Journey

Hello all, Hector is a father of 2 and my husband. He was diagnosed with CKD 8 years ago and had to make a lifesaving decision to have get healthy,  have weightloss surgery or be put on dialysis at hat time. He was able to get gastric bypass surgery and lost over 220lbs and was able to live a normal life and avoid dialysis then.  He has experienced the kidney transplant journey  back in 2015 with his mother who also transplanted at Baylor.
Fast Forward to today, he has End Stage Renal  disease and will need to start dialysis as soon as possible. Even though he has done all in his power to avoid this, this day has come. We are now faced with dialysis and the beginning of the kidney transplant process.
His faith has been great in God and we are still believing for God's purpose and plan for his life. We Are asking for your help and support during this process.
I have been helping post-transplant patients at Baylor for the past 4 years and I know first hand the financial, emotional, and health challenges faced by this event, but it is different to face them first hand.
We need all the help we can get to help with his care, medical expenses, medications, and home renovations needed to prepare for in home dialysis and care after transplant.
We also would like to help my brother Eliud, since he will be his donor. Eliud is a father of two baby girls 6 months and 2 years old. He is self-employed and the only provider in his family.  He will not be able to work during his recovery time.  All your help will be used to help them with bills, food, pampers, formula, and needs of their family.
