Help Heather Fight Lyme Disease

I am hoping to lessen the financial burden for my friend Heather & her family as Heather has Lyme Disease and is extremely sick and not able to work.

I met Heather in 2005, just before I graduated Nursing School. She was a Registered Nurse working on Paediatrics at our local Hospital. She always provided amazing care to her patients and their families & was always there to help me learn and find my way when I began working on "her" unit as a Graduate Nurse.

Now it is Heather that needs our help. She was sick for some time before being diagnosed with Lyme Disease. As I already mentioned she is so unwell she is unable to work & many of the medications she is required to take in an effort to be healthy again are not covered under any drug plan. This is why I urge you to donate if you can. No donation is too small. Having to figure out how they will pay for her next round of meds should be the least of her worries. She needs to focus all of her energy on getting better for herself, her husband and 2 children.
