Heather is Badass and MUST finish College!

As most of you know, I've spent the last 3 years busting out 'As' in film school. I've won awards for my work and in my first year scored an internship at Warner Bros.

Right before I was to start my senior year, my school (The Art Institute) abruptly shut down. I was out of a school and because I also was a student worker, out of a job.  It was a really traumatic event, and I didn't know how it would affect all of the work I had previously done. 

CUT TO:

About a month later I began to finish my studies at Columbia College. What I found out was that although many of my Art Institute credits would transfer, I would still need to take some extra classes that were required at Columbia. And the worst part: I was running out of grants.

If I continue, I will have to pay out of pocket for the rest. My heart sunk hearing this. All this work, and the trauma that I had been through might be for nothing.

I hope that you all can see how serious I am about my goal and that I'm going to continue to work my buttocks off. I am going to make video blogs about my classes and my experiences so that I can keep you updated about my endeavors.



That's a glimpse of what my monthly payments will look like for the rest of next year! That's more than some people's rent. 

What I plan to do:

I will continue to look for grants, and I will continue to look for work in my field. But right now, I'm need to ask for your support. In return, I will make daily videos of my endeavors inside and outside of school. If I make my goal, I will shoot a super cool music video thanking you all, because without you, I wouldn't make it.
