Furniture retrieval

We moved just recently. The bulk of our belongings were moved by a moving company. They have our furniture in storage. Problem is it weighed more that the estimate.  We don't have the money to pay the charges. Each month adds $350 in storage fees. I am trying to negotiate with them, but so far I haven't had much luck. The picture is what my husband is sleeping on. An inflatable mattress with a leak. We're all sleeping on air mattresses. The worst part is that all my quilting supplies, our clothes, and many personal items are part of what we might loose.
