Fighting Human Trafficking

After spending the past two years in South Asia with International Justice Mission, fighting human trafficking; I am incredibly honored to have recently accepted an offer to join Oasis International in their fight against human trafficking. I am excited to have this opportunity to have a positive impact and to assist in seeing that those who prey on the vulnerable are brought to justice. This opportunity presents me with the ability to continue to serve others by working with Oasis to bring relief to the oppressed.

Oasis is a human rights agency whose mission is to walk alongside those suffering from oppression and bring rescue and restoration to those being exploited. Through collaboration with local authorities Oasis seeks to rescue, protect, and restore victims of sex trafficking and forced labor.

I made the decision to accept this position and move to South Asia to do this work because I know that God has provided me with the skills and experience needed to make a positive impact in this area. While I made the decision to go, I know that I cannot do this work alone. If you would like to share in this effort there are several ways in which to help.

First, you can help by praying for me and the work that is being done by Oasis: that God will continue to prepare each of us for our assignments and bless our efforts as we minister to those that are being exploited; that our financial needs will be met"”for me these include; visas, vaccinations, medical insurance, local transportation in South Asia, and miscellaneous expenses; and that God would keep us alert to the schemes of the enemy and strategies that would enable us to be effective in reducing this abhorrent evil.

My estimated need for funding is approximately $6,000 for the year.
