<div>In 2024 was ik bij Kyriong samen met mijn teamlid Sarine om de reis naar Nepal en naar Tibet - Mount Kailash van 2025 voor te bereiden.

<div>Een groep van 11 prachtige vrouwen zijn in 2025 meegeweest. We hebben met eigen ogen gezien wat landslides en modderstromen aanrichten en hebben van gidsen in Nepal en in Tibet vele persoonlijke verhalen over de rauwe werkelijkheid gehoord.

<div>Nepal wordt vaker getroffen door modderstromen; op 26 augustus j.l. echter brak de hel daar los kunnen we wel zeggen. Dit maal kwam een zeer krachtige tsunami aan modder en puin in Kyriong border aan..en raasde door het grensgebied.

<div>Honderden mensen (en dieren)  zijn overleden en honderden worden nu vermist.. ook veel toeristen, trekkers en pelgrims. Augustus geldt als hoogseizoen in zowel Tibet als Nepal vooral nu in het jaar van het Vuurpaard dat geldt als extra krachtig.

<div>Onze Hartgevoelde intenties gaan uit naar alle betrokkenen en hun families die uit vele landen komen.❤️

<div><strong>Directe hulp gevraagd</strong>

<div>Ik ben in samenwerking met mijn team in Nepal een donatie-actie gestart dat ingezet gaat worden voor directe hulp aan dorpen die getroffen zijn en aan individuen die impact hebben op het mobiliseren van direkte hulp.

<div>Alhoewel ook Tibet en China zijn getroffen door hevige overstromingen richten we ons eerst met dit projekt op Nepal. 
</div>
<div>Nepal kampt met grote economische moeilijkheden en steun aan lokale doelen is hard nodig.
</div>
<div>Ik zal updates verstrekken over waar het geld naar zal zal gaan/ is gegaan.

<div>Er is veel geld nodig voor reddingswerk schoonmaak en opbouw. We doneren aan een organisatie die concreet man- en vrouwwerk in de getroffen dorpen voorziet van middelen waaronder materiaal &amp; geld.

<div>In 2024, I was in Kyriong with my team member Sarine to prepare for the 2025 trip to Nepal and Tibet - Mount Kailash.

<div>A group of 11 beautiful women attended the spiritual journey we undertook in 2025. We have seen with our own eyes what landslides and mudslides are doing and have heard many personal stories about the raw reality from guides in Nepal and Tibet.

<div>However, this year, on August 26, all hell broke loose in this area we can say. This time, a very powerful tsunami of mud and debris arrived in Kyriong border and raged through the border area.

<div>Hundreds of people (and animals) have died and hundreds are now missing... also many tourists, trekkers and pilgrims. August is a high season in both Tibet and Nepal especially in this year 2026 of the firehorse it is very crowded.
