Going to North Korea with Wheat Mission!

Hi! This is OHMIN from Orange County California. Thanks for visiting my FUNd-raising website!! You are AWESOME. This is my first time ever publicly raising funds for my mission trip and I have to say it ain't easy. But the scripture says "ask, and it will be given to you"! I believe in Jehovah-Jireh: the LORD will provide!
This April, I will be going to Democratic People's Republic of Korea aka "˜North Korea' accompanying the president of Wheat Missions which I am currently serving and with a staff from Kids Around the World alongside other donors. Our main mission site is an orphanage near the NK's capital Pyong Yang but we will be visiting other orphanages to monitor the supplies we have previously distributed. Although we cannot publicly share our faith in Christ, the goal of this trip is to SHOW the Christ's love in our caring heart, action and conversation. The objectives of this trip are as follows: 1) build playground for the orphanage 2) build greenhouse and 3) set up soybean oil refinery to provide self-sustainable project for the community.
The container has been remodeled with windows and doors for multipurpose usage and alongside playground materials, we are shipping snacks, dried fruits and soup mix costing estimated $120,000 USD in total.
My trip will be from Los Angeles to Beijing, China to Pyong Yang, DPRK back to Beijing to Incheon, South Korea and finally back to Los Angeles. Everyone traveling out of their own pocket and I have calculated the cost of my trip will be $3,000 USD.
This trip will be a once in a life time experience to lay my feet on the land which I share my roots with. I believe that God has special plan for me to give me the vision and direction for my future and provide me with personal conviction to have genuine passion and caring heart for our brothers and sisters. I know my capabilities, my limitation, and strengths and weaknesses, and I cannot do this alone. The financial assistance is one of my lesser worries but I need the words of encouragement, and powerful prayers from YOU!
