Kendrick is a 38 year old husband and father to three beautiful children. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) in 2005 and the diagnosis has recently progressed leading him be in need of a heart transplant. Kendrick is currently hospitalized 11 hours away from his family in a Cardic Intensive Care Unit (CICU) until his transplant. Kendrick has been receiving AMAZING medical care throughout the past 4 years, but with his decline in health status he can no longer live without a new heart. With Ken's prolonged hospitilizations, doctors' visits and caretaker's time from work, it has become a strain financially. Ken definitely deserves a full life to raise his children and enjoy life with them. With a new heart, he will be able to improve his quality of life by doing the simple things that many of us take for granted each day.
