I've made it pasted the one year mark! Yay! From my death bed, to living on a machine for 3 years, to heart transplant, and now to getting my life back on track.
I recieved the most wonderful and life changing gift, a heart transplant, on April 15, 2015. I am the 15th heart transplant in the United States for 2015!
Now that I have been doing great, I am going back to school. I am finishing my A.A.S. in Health Science, but I have decided to go for a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I am now attending Antioch University and also Sinclair Community College this Fall of 2016. Its sad leaving my baby girls for the semester to start back to school. Rose and Cora both miss their mommy, but are thrilled that I will soon become a teacher in a few more semesters. They are proud that next week their super hero mommy will begain the process of graduating from Sinclair. Its been a very long road and so happy that small part is coming to an end.
LIFE and what it means to me as a woman, mother, daughter, sister, recipient, donor, teacher, and friend.

I give my thanks to God, my family, and all my friends and cargivers who have always supported me and gave never ever given up hope. Life can change in an instant, please don't waist a second of it and find love and positivity no matter what you might face.
