Rescue Dog Hugo Needs ACL Surgery

Hugo was turned over to us do to the fact his family had no time for him and he had been caged for almost 5 years. During the past week we have fostered him in our home and observed a serious limp as well as muscle atrophy. He came to us undernurished and with almost no muscle tone from most likely being caged the majority of his life. We found out why he was limping, he was turned over to us with no disclusore of any issues. We confronted the former owner and she did confirm the issue of a torn ACL. Our local vet has checked Hugo and confirmed the ACL tear. Also we have his original vet records and he will now be seen by an orthopetic vet as recommended. Before Hugo is rehomed he will need a surgery to repair his ACL. We feel it is not fair to allow Hugo to suffer anymore or leave the financial burden of the surgery cost on Hugos rescue home. The money raised will be used to pay for the ACL surgery and help with after care. He just wants to be loved and be a part of a family. Please help Hugo get the surgery he needs so he can go to a home where he can be loved and appreciated FUREVER!!
