200 Hr Yoga Training Dream

Hello. My name is Hayley and I'm seeking donations for my Yoga Teacher Training.
Throughout my life, I have always loved to serve and help others. I believe one of the reasons I love teaching yoga is because I feel as though I am giving something to people, providing them with something they are in need of, and that makes me feel incredibly fulfilled. Yoga has also changed the way I see myself and others, something I struggled with as a child. Since finding my yoga practice at 13yo, I have begun a long journey of practicing and teaching, but, ultimately, I have found my passion.
Over the past four years, I have invested many hours in creating a fun and safe space for my yoga students and I hope to continue to do that. Therefore, I am trying to make my dream of completing my 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Training) certification a reality. This is the next certification a person in my shoes would complete, but it is also an extremely costly one. Although I have taught over 250 hours as it is, this certification is needed to teach at any studio in the country, something I’m unable to do with the certifications I currently have. The skillset I would obtain through this training would provide me with many more opportunities to lead yoga to populations of people I would like to. Since I began teaching, I have volunteered my time to teach at-risk youth, youth dealing with childhood obesity, college athletes, and other philanthropic organizations. I promise to continue to give back to the community in this way after completing this certification.
For me, this is much more than an expensive set of classes; it is a part of my journey as a future educator, fitness instructor, volunteer and mentor. It is paving the way to a much longer investment of rewarding people with the essence of movement, breathe, and meditation, encouraging others to find ease where there is pain and comfort where there is hesitation.

I’m calling on my friends, family and fellow community members to help me fulfill this passion and fund part of the cost for this certification (most trainings are around $3000). Although I am not fully comfortable with the idea of raising money for myself, I feel it is the only way to take this next step in my teaching path in the following years. With this certification, I will be able to give back to the community, lead free classes, and also explore and discover much about myself and my practice. I aspire to bring yoga to different populations such as veterans, children, and the ill. ANY contribution is helpful, I truly mean that. $1 is acceptable as weel as $5 or a number you don't see like $15. It really does all add up. Just a fun example, if each of my facebook friends were to give $1.47, my funding would be accomplished.
