<div>From a 5th-grade classroom in Taylor, Texas, to a haunted history park we haven't built yet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I was in 5th grade at <strong>T.H. Johnson Elementary in Taylor, Texas</strong>* my teacher, Mr. Lockhart, had cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I didn't understand cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I did understand that the bandage on his nose would sometimes fall off when he breathed too hard—and it scared us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I learned every recitation in that class because I didn't want to upset him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Fear can freeze you or fuel you.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I chose fuel.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And that is still the energy behind <strong>Haunted Texas Theme Park and Haunted History Parks Global</strong>: creating immersive entertainment around Texas history and telling those stories out loud instead of paving over them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Taylor, Texas is still home base for that dream</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But it's time for me to be transparent about where we actually are.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We Didn't Raise the $5 Million.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe originally supported a much larger plan: raising money toward a <strong>$5 million seed round for land</strong> and beginning development of Haunted Texas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>That round did not close.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This original campaign raised about $370 from 2 people who REALLY believe in our vision. We thank you for being early supporters!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And I'm not going to keep describing a park we can't break ground on yet as if millions of dollars are already at work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We tried.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It didn't happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So we're changing the strategy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Not the dream. The strategy.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div># EVENTS FIRST. PARK SECOND. ️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead of asking the public to help us raise millions of dollars to build an entire theme park, we're starting with something we can actually execute, measure and grow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our new GoFundMe goal is $25,000.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That money is intended to help us work toward launching our <strong>first Haunted History pop-up event in San Diego, California.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why San Diego?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because this is where I'm currently rebuilding, and it's where we can begin developing the live-events side of Haunted History Parks Global before taking the concept on the road.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The strategy is simple:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Produce the first event.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Sell the first tickets.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Prove people want the experience.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Generate revenue.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Do it again.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Build sponsors and partnerships</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Take the experience to additional cities.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Work our way back toward Texas.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And eventually—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Build the park.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WHAT DOES $25,000 ACTUALLY DO?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal is not to pretend $25,000 builds Haunted Texas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It doesn't.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal is to use crowdfunding as <strong>early-stage launch capital </strong>toward a real, measurable first milestone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised may help cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> <strong>Venue &amp; Event Costs</strong>
</div>
<div>Deposits, venue expenses, permits and basic event infrastructure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> <strong>Production</strong>
</div>
<div>Sound, lighting, staging, visual storytelling and the people required to produce the experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Haunted History Experience Development </strong>
</div>
<div>Creative development, historical storytelling, immersive elements and early technology experiences.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Marketing &amp; Ticket Sales  </strong>
</div>
<div>Advertising, social media, content, PR, graphics and promotional expenses required to actually put people in the room.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Event Staff &amp; Contractors  </strong>
</div>
<div>The people who help safely and professionally execute the event.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Project Reserve  </strong>
</div>
<div>We want to begin building a reserve so that successful events can help finance future events—and ultimately contribute toward the larger Haunted Texas vision.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WHAT THIS $25,000 IS NOT FOR
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Transparency matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign will <strong>not</strong>:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Buy 70 acres.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Build a billion-dollar development.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Open Haunted Texas Theme Park in 2027.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Build housing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Build a technology academy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❌ Fund the entire Freedom's Late Notice tour.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Those ideas belong to the <strong>larger roadmap</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are not what we're asking GoFundMe donors to finance today.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're asking you to help us prove Step One.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>FROM $25,000 TO HAUNTED TEXAS ️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The new strategy creates a capital ladder instead of asking one investor—or thousands of strangers on the internet—to fund the entire dream at once.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 1
</div>
<div><strong>GoFundMe</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Help capitalize the first Haunted History pop-up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 2
</div>
<div><strong>FIRST EVENT</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Put real people in the room.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 3
</div>
<div><strong>TICKET REVENUE</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Start generating our own money.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 4
</div>
<div><strong>SPONSORS + PARTNERS</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Use demonstrated audience demand to attract commercial partners.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 5
</div>
<div><strong>REPEATABLE EVENTS</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Take Haunted History experiences into additional markets.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 6
</div>
<div><strong>FREEDOM'S LATE NOTICE™</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Develop our larger comedy, culture, history and immersive-technology entertainment franchise through investors, sponsors and strategic partners.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>↓
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>STEP 7
</div>
<div><strong>HAUNTED HISTORY PARKS GLOBAL</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Use the audience, revenue, technology, intellectual property, partnerships and operating history we build along the way to strengthen the case for the permanent destination.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>PROVE → MEASURE → REPEAT → SCALE</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THE BIGGER EVENTS ARE STILL COMING </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our larger event strategy includes <strong>Freedom's Late Notice™ — A Billion-Dollar Roast of America's WTF Moments</strong>, an entertainment concept combining comedy, culture, history, music and immersive technology.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That project is being developed separately for <strong>investor, sponsor and strategic-partner financing</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are <strong>not asking GoFundMe donors to finance a multimillion-dollar celebrity event</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The GoFundMe has a much simpler job:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Help us get the first smaller event off the ground.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we can't prove people will attend the first experience, we haven't earned the right to ask investors to finance the hundredth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>WHY EVENTS FIRST?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because waiting for millions of dollars before doing anything wasn't working.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Events give us something a business plan can't:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Receipts</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real ticket buyers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real attendance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real customer feedback.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real sponsor interest.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real merchandise sales.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real content.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real audience data.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Real operating experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And, hopefully—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Real revenue.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead of:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Raise millions → Build park → Hope people come</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're working toward:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Build audience → Generate revenue → Test experiences → Prove technology → Create IP → Attract larger capital → Build destination</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I'M AMY BROADNAX. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm the founder of Haunted History Parks Global, and I'm rebuilding this from San Diego.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The original version of this campaign asked people to believe in something enormous.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I still believe in something enormous.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But this version asks you to help me do something much simpler:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Start</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One event.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One audience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One successful night.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then another.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then another city.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then sponsors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then larger productions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then Texas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm not promising that $25,000 magically turns into a theme park.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm promising that <strong>we finally have a smaller first step toward trying to earn our way there.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>HELP US PUT HAUNTED TEXAS BACK ON THE ROAD
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you care about the park…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you love history…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you love a good scare…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe history can be taught differently…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you support independent creators and female founders…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Or if you simply want to see whether we can actually pull this off—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Start here with us.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate what you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Share this campaign with somebody who loves a good scare and a true story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Follow the journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And when we announce that first event—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Come spend the night with us. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The park is still the goal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The events are how we get back on the road to it.

Haunted Texas: Events First. The Park Is Still the Goal!

Still $24,630 to go. Help us build momentum.
