Hello, everyone! Meet the Hasenbeck family: John, Tiffany, son Jacob, and daughter Tara. They are in desperate need of your help but too proud and embarrased to reach out to ask. Therefore, as Tiffany's best friend and Tara's Godmother, I am doing it on their behalf.
Anyone who knows this family can say that, without a doubt, they ALWAYS put others' needs before themselves! Tiffany is well known for constantly sending out e-mails & Facebook notices on behalf of someone who needs help financially or for donations of toys or clothes for another family. Well, this time, it is THIS family that needs help!
As a seasonal worker and due to the economic downturn, John has faced significant unemployment for the past several years. Although he continues to work part-time while seeking full-time employment, his income doesn't even cover the family groceries. Tiffany, on the other hand, has worked 3+ jobs at once for as long as I can remember! Recently, however, Tiffany sustained an on-the-job injury that has limited her mobility and put her in CONSTANT pain. The resulting worker's compensation claim has forced her out of that position. In addition, her constant pain and limited mobility has made it impossible for her to work at her other waitress job due to the physical demands. Finally, her full-time employer released his entire staff nearly 2 years ago. A recent claim for disability was denied and, although she continues to seek employment, she can no longer perform physically laborious positions.
Times have always been tough for this family. As many of you know, Tiffany has suffered with rheumatoid arthritis nearly her entire adult life. To make matters worse, about a year ago Tiffany was told that her gallbladder needed to be removed and that she faced a serious risk of it rupturing! Due to unemployment & financial constraints, the family has no health insurance. Therefore, Tiffany must endure the pain associated with her fall, arthritis, and gallbladder without any medical assistance.
All of this leads to my plea for this family's help!! Due to the above circumstances, they are significantly behind on their bills, within a week of having their utilities shut off, and over 3 months past due on their mortgage!! With 2 kids to support, this family can NOT loose their home!! About half of the requested $5,000 will keep their utilities on and foreclosure at bay. The remaining amount will be used to pay off all past due utilities, bring their mortgage current, and contribute towards very badly needed medical expenses. Who knows? Maybe, if we can raise the $5,000 or a little more, Tiffany can have her gallbladder removed before it ruptures and threatens her life!
I am sincerely asking that everyone who knows this family pitch in and help! Skip Starbucks once this week and donate $5 or skip going out to dinner this week and donate $50. Tiffany has hundreds of friends and, if only 200 of those friends donate $5, that raises $1,000 to help this family avoid foreclosure! I am starting this off by donating $100 and I pledge to donate another $100 once this fund reaches $2,500. Please contribute what you can to help! Furthermore, please share the link for this fund far and wide! I have only a small percentage of the Facebook friends that Tiffany has and TIFFANY DOES NOT KNOW I CREATED THIS FUND so please forward it to all your friends.
