Hola! I want to thank everyone for support in the Rockdale relief effort. We have been able to provide much needed supplies and have provided over 750 meals over the last couple days. We have been coordinating with City of Rockport officials on the area's needs since before leaving Cedar Park. This communication has increased because we are now face to face, with established trust. I mention this because several people have posted a Facebook article where the City of Rockport has asked for donations to stop for now. We are making targeted purchases based on latest needs communicated to us by City Officials. We are making another supply run on Monday or Tuesday, so we are keeping the campaign open.

How can I help? This is a theme running through many of our mind's as we see updates on Hurricane Harvey's destructive swath through Texas. What can I do to help?
Well friends...we've got this fifty foot bus that is ready to hit road to meet up with our friends with Thai, How Are You in Rockport, TX.
Thai, How Are You is bringing their Austin, Texas based food truck to Rockport (where Harvey first made landfall on the coast). They are bringing food to those in need and we are bringing a bus so they can rest in between shifts.
What can I do to help? We have fifty feet of bus and we need your help filling it with supplies that are desperately needed in Rockport. We have a little over a day to pack as much into the bus as possible.
How are funds being used: Purchasing supplies requested by Rockport City Officials for relief effort & supporting Thai How Are You free meals for Rockport citizens and relief workers.
GoFundMe has asked me to provide the following details:
Organizer: Jim Gardner of Cedar Prk, Texas.
Relationship to people fundraiser is supporting: I do not have a personal stake in the people of Rockport other than they are my fellow him beings on this blue orb.
Where will funds go: Funds will be transferred into Jim Gardner's personal banking account and will be used to reimburse for volunteer expenses already incurred and future purchases in support of the relief effort. Any unspent funds will be used to purchase gift cards and provided to the Rockport Chamber of Commerce for distribution to those impacted by Harvey. I will publish an accounting when we have completed this effort. At this time GoFundMe has not released funds and all expenses are being paid by Jim Gardner.
