Dear friends, family, kind souls, and music supporters,
I am writing to ask you to open up your heart for a harpist following her dream.
In March 2014, I was accepted into the Boston Conservatory of Music to study with Cynthia Price-Glynn. It has always been my dream to pursue a master's in harp performance at a prestigious university such as the Boston Conservatory and eventually get a post in a high-ranking orchestra.
I'm amazed to say that I've been offered a renewable $30,000 scholarship.
Unfortunately, this is not enough. After estimating the maximum funding that OSAP would be able to give me, I have calculated that I will need to raise about $7,000 more in order to be able to acheive this goal.
The following is a breakdown of costs:
Tuition 37,980
Comprehensive Fees 2,176
Room and Board 12,720
Books & Supplies 766
Miscellaneous 1,274
Travel 1,088
Health Insurance 1,925
I am currently working three jobs, and performing gigs, but it will not be enough. So, I come to you for support. Anything you are able donate will make a life-changing difference.
