Chronically ill Companion Care Fund

During my course of working as a health care professional, I came across patients that can afford companion care and others who also need companion care but cannot afford one due to their family history of either low or no income. 

It is very sad and diffuclt to walk away from a patient because they cannot afford to pay  for "care of service" because they have low or no income due to their illness.

It is even more difficult to see a patient who is a senior that is home-bound, chronically or terminally ill at the hospital or home "ALONE" with no one at the bed side because their loved ones cannot afford to stop working or lives far away from the patient.

These are the things that broke my heart and led me to create Hand For Chronically and Terminally ill Inc.

We will continue to be the voice of our seniors, the acute, chronically and terminally ill, especailly those who are dying to ask for help from the community for their companion care.  

"How are you", "How do you feel" and "You are not alone".  These words are precious and reassuring in the ears of the sick and dying.
