I am thrilled to share with you that I have been selected to participate in the Spelman College Brazil Study Abroad Program for 5 weeks this summer! I am excited and especially anxious to continue learning the Portuguese language and to become immersed in Afro Brazilian Culture and History, and developing a better understanding of Brazil’s global significance.
I need your financial support to experience this life changing opportunity. While expanding my knowledge of people and different cultures, this venture will also allow me to satisfy my foreign language and elective credit through hands on practical application.
