Just my thoughts on the situation

Many of you are aware that our Son Brandon Collapsed in June of 2008 from the effects of a Brain Tumor.  He has been a warrior through it all, always believing in God and putting his faith in Gods hands.  From time to time our friends have always been there helping when called upon.  Well the need has arisen once again, at the present Brandon is in the hospital recovering from his emergency surgery to repair his feeding tube, previously we received word that the MRI confirmed that his brain tumor has gotten significantly bigger.   Though his pneumonia has cleared, They did a chest X-ray that confirmed his lungs are clear.  We have always Believed that God will open a door for Brandon's healing. Praying.

We ask that you keep him lifted up in prayer. Trusting God.  Now the need to lean on our friends has become necessary.

Through it all I've listen to several messages with great admiration from my friends, words of encouragement, thousands of Prayers. Being a humble Marine it is hard for an old hard charger such as myself to reach out. Reaching out for help is something that comes easy when I'm helping other Marines, but my pride gets in the way when it comes to me and my family. This Hall Family has endure a month of catastrophic pain, first the overwhelming news that our son's tumor has doubled in size, secondly getting out of the hospital only to land back there for an emergency surgery to repair his feeding tube, with a little luck he will return home once again this afternoon, but on Monday he begins the strenuous journey back and forth to the Oncologist for radiation and Chemo therapy for six straight weeks.

Third, while driving on Hwy 24 I myself was struck by a 19 yr old young man on his way to work on the driver side of my truck that caused me to roll over 4 times breaking my neck in the accident preventing me from seeing my son while he laid in the hospital. This terrible accident caused an even more of a burden on my over tasked wife. Our family now being reduced to one vehicle temporarily, having to shuffle our youngest to his football games and practice, to the hospital visits for Brandon, making my appointments in my quest for recovery. Insurance claims to settle, not able to drive for 3 months while I remain trussed up in a neck brace with a broken neck. My wife goes to school and has a full time job as a Professional Medical Coder at MCAS Cherry Point Health Clinic, all this activity has vanquished the little energy she has on a normal day, much less in the current state she encounters. Please pray for her strength to continue.

Last night my Sister called to inform me that one of my brothers had passed away, they found him dead in his apartment. I will miss him dearly, the biweekly calls of laughter, the steady friendship of my brother, his quest for happiness. Your troubles are over John, God bless you.

For cards and letters of encouragement our address is 207 Nydegg Road, New Bern, North Carolina 28562.

Thanks for taking the time to listen.
