I cannot begin to express my profound gratitude to each and every one of you. It is hard for me to find the words in this difficult time to adequately communicate how much I need and deeply appreciate all of your expressions of love, grief, support, and prayers for Hal's passing. Hal truly was larger than life and his sudden departure was much too soon for any of us. Hal's life was the definition of "A Life Well-Lived." He lived every moment of every day. He deeply loved his friends and his family and it is truly comforting to know that he was so well-loved by all of you.
Hal was everything to me. We were building a dream together and, in his honor, I will pick up the pieces and continue what we started. I want you to know that Hal left us doing what he loved. He worked with a couple horses in the morning and then went out to shoe a horse for a client that afternoon. The Lord called him home at that time of natural causes. He needed someone with the most tender, kind, loving and biggest heart he could find and it wouldn't surprise any of you to know that was Hal. Hal made me know how much I was loved. He made me smile and laugh and not a day went by that we weren't aware of how blessed we were to have each other and to live God's' plan together. This is such a devastating loss for me and all of us he left behind. That hole will never be filled, but I hope you will always find Hal in the memories of the times you had together and the example that he set by the humble way he led his life. His spirit is boundless and I know we will all continue to feel his presence in our lives.
We will have some gatherings to celebrate Hal's life in a few different locations so as many of you as possible can have the opportunity to remember and celebrate him. I do not have the details yet, but as soon as I know, I will get the word out so please keep checking Facebook for that information.
In the meantime, I have a favor to ask of you ... PLEASE ... if you could send any photos of Hal that you have to me at 387 Sherman Drive, Eureka, MT 59917 ... we will use them to make a display for the gatherings. I would also appreciate any sharing of stories, photos, and recollections of your time with Hal either to his FB or privately with me.
If not for your friendship, your prayers, and your shared tears, this difficult time would be impossible to bear. Thank you.
