Hello my name is Matt Long and I am the founder of the IWF, I Will Foundation, and we're on a mission. five years ago while training for my comeback to Ironman I met and was inspired by Hector Picard. Hector, a double arm amputee, told me it was his dream to do an Ironman but not just any Ironman he wanted to go to KONA !!
IWF and Signature Cycles of NYC built hector a bike and Hector was on his way with multiple triathlons under his belt and 3 years of rejections from the Kona lottery system Hector has been granted a slot in the 2015 World Championships in KONA!!
Despite having no hands Hector has always giving to others first... Please check out this short video and keep in mind the last time you were upset you got a flat tire. The video alone is worth at least a $25 donation ( wink/wink)
