We see a world that’s hurting, with people in pain. These people aren’t strangers. They include our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. And to be honest, we hurt sometimes too.
What’s causing the pain? It includes relational disconnection, isolation, loneliness, shame, guilt, financial stress, burnout and more. And it leads to busyness, hopelessness, substance abuse and a host of other coping mechanisms.
But there’s HOPE! In coastal Orange County a group of friends are preparing a response to those hurts and pains by creating a very special place…
Imagine a place where people everywhere can truly come as they are and experience God’s love.
A place where authentic community is celebrated and honored.
A place where “being in process” is the norm and “having it all together” is unnecessary.
A place where honesty and vulnerability are valued, modeled and embraced as essential to personal growth.
A place where people who’ve felt spiritually homeless can finally come home.
A place where words like “spiritual family,” “spiritual gathering place,” and “spiritual community” are used, taught and demonstrated for all to see and explore.
A place where Jesus and His teachings are “all-inclusive” - for ALL people, in ALL places!
We are going to call this place HOMECOMING Church.
We open our doors to the community on Easter Sunday (April 16, 2017).
Our Sunday services will be positive, fun and spiritually encouraging.
Our music will be relevant, uplifting and led by a talented band.
Our people will be warm, friendly and real.
Our environment will be clean, informative and inviting.
Our involvement process will be clear, compelling and committed to moving people toward greater spiritual maturity. We need YOUR help.
Your partnership will provide a much needed place for those who need it most.
A spiritual home created for those who don’t feel like they belong.
An accepting community for those who don’t feel like they’re “good enough for church.”
A welcoming place for those who have felt far off from God.
A nurturing environment for those who have been burned or burned out by church.
It’s HAPPENING already!
Our Lead Team (volunteer staff) is formed and committed to our mission, vision and values.
Our Launch Team (entire serving group) is being established and will meet every other week beginning in January.
Our Sneak Previews (Sunday dry-runs) will begin in late February.
And we need your help and partnership in financing this significant undertaking!
Will you GIVE today?
Our goal is to raise $40,000 by April 1, 2017.
Here’s what your giving will specifically do:
Provide for our Sunday rental facility for our first few months.
Provide for our audio and visual equipment purchases.
Provide for our children’s ministry supplies and resources purchases.
Provide for our communication materials to help get the word out.
Provide partial staff salaries for our Sunday and children’s ministry leaders.
Please consider partnering with this MUCH NEEDED project.
We don’t know of another church like it in the community and we believe that the people of our county deserve a church like this.
Your donations are tax deductible.

If you make year-end contributions towards organizations close to your heart, please consider HOMECOMING Church as one of those. Ending the year strong helps us launch into our birth in 2017 with the resources needed to pursue our ministry goals through God's direction. For donations to appear on your 2016 receipts, they must be received by December 31st.
