Houston continues to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. The nation’s fourth largest city began getting back to work and transit services were operational again this week after Labor Day, although the school district remains closed as it repairs damaged, flooded buildings.
As flood waters recede, our own HOERBIGER employees are busy getting repair estimates and appraisals, tearing out sheet rock and carpet, and trying to rebuild their lives. Harvey’s record rainfall has left its mark and it is estimated to be years before the city returns to a normal state.
With over a dozen employees experiencing major damage to their homes and cars, we as a company are coming together to provide “Closeness” - one of our core values. It is times like these when the HOERBIGER family stands together to help each other.
This GO Fund Me page provides a central place for coworkers, friends and other community members to help our HOERBIGER family who have experienced traumatic losses and damages get back on their feet. A committee has been established and is reviewing each employee’s personal situation and soon will distribute the funds based on needs and available resources.
