Covid19 Fund - Higham Hill Muslim Community Trust

Higham Hill Muslim Community Trust (HHMCT) are fundraising to support staff at our local Whipps Cross University Hospital over the coming weeks. Staff can be physically and mentally drained after long shifts and every little really helps!
HHMCT have been in touch with our hospital throughout this pandemic on ways we can support. Together we have identified 2 specific areas where we will be supporting them:
1. Provide Toiletry packs
Each pack will contain good quality (Deodorant, shower gel, hand cream, toothbrush set and much more) for all frontline Whipps Cross staff.
2. Provide Bottled drinks for ALL staff.
Hadeeth, from Sahih Muslim
>>.....وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ، يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ.....وَاَللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ....<<
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.
Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother.
Hadeeth, from Sahih Bukhari
"بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِى بِطَرِيقٍ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ فَأَخَّرَهُ، فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ"
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
A man was walking along a road and found a branch of thorns on the road. He removed it. For that Allah was grateful and forgave him.
Lesson:
It is not necessarily the deed itself which may save us from our many sins, but rather, it is the state that we're in whilst engaging in that deed.
