The Hampstead Hill Academy family is asking for support for one of our own. Rosalia Castelan is a beloved member of our faculty, a mother of two of our amazing students, and a wonderful friend and colleague. On January 14, 2018 she and her family narrowly escaped a three-alarm fire in their home. While we are all truly grateful for their safety, we are heartbroken that their new home, pets and all of their possessions were lost. We are asking for donations to help Rosalia and her family begin to piece their lives back together. While we cannot erase the unimaginable pain this has caused them, we can show them they do not need to experience this alone.
Rosalia has been a member of our HHA family for six years. She is the mother of Josue, a current fifth grader, and Julie, a current Pre-K student. For the last two years, she has worked as our main office assistant and has become an invaluable member of our staff. Without her and her kids, our school would not be the same.
Working together to help one another is one of the greatest strengths of human kind. We hope you will consider donating to Rosalia and her family in their time of need. We are grateful for your generosity and we send love and prayers to Rosalia, Josue, Julie and Josue as they persevere through this challenge and begin again.
