What We Do
Humanity Forward Foundation x The $1k Project delivers $1,000 a month for 3 months to individuals and families who are financially impacted by the pandemic by connecting them with sponsor donations.
Who We Are
We are committed to creating a bridge for US working families who lost income due to the pandemic. These families faced an immediate and unforeseen struggle to maintain stable housing, food, schooling, and medicine. With involvement from staff from the Humanity Forward Foundation, volunteers across the country have developed, operated and shared this effort.
Your Contribution Directly Helps Families
When you donate to our campaign, your contribution flows directly to a family in need. Families are referred into the project through our trusted network, and we review each application individually.
This meaningful impact reached more than $2,500,000 to 800 families in just five months, and their gratitude is inspiring.

The sponsored families come from 39 states, 13% are single parent households. In all, we have supported 860 dependents in those families!
