We are excited to announce that Henderson Royalty is the first Nevada NFL Flag Football team in HFFL All-Star history to win the Regional Tournament and earn a spot in the National NFL Flag Football Tournament to be held January 26, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.
The Henderson Flag Football League (HFFL) has been in our Southern Nevada community for 21 years and has been working with NFL Flag as part of its Play60 Campaign to keep kids active. The Royalty coaches have been involved with HFFL since 2003. These young athletes were born for such a time as this!
In early November 2017, the Royalty team competed in a Regional tournament in California against teams from California, Nevada, and Hawaii and won 5 straight games to take the Western Regional Title. They are officially one of the 10 best teams in the nation! The next step is the National Tournament in Orlando, Florida over Pro-Bowl weekend. While NFL Flag provides the accommodations for the players the night before the tournament, the parents need to provide airfare and additional accommodations as the team and their families are traveling across the country and want the players to be at the top of their game. Please consider helping us finance this amazing opportunity for these remarkable 13- and 14-year old boys. They are proud to represent Southern Nevada!
