THIS IS MY YOUNGER SISTER Madeleine, aged 41,from West Africa, young, bright, cheerful, loving and everything going for her until three weeks ago when she was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer as a result of carrying the Hepatitis B virus since the year 2000. This is a prevalent condition in West africa and in Madeleine's case it was caught through infected blood from a dental treatment. After a recent medical check up she has been advised to undergo surgery in order to remove the affected part of the liver. This is a multiple stage procedure and requires quite some time spent in hospital.
