Hello Everyone!!!
I have a rare genetic disorder called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, in which my muscles calcify into bone. I need a new electric wheelchair because my current one is so old that the company that fixes it cannot find parts to replace the broken parts. My old wheelchair is over 15 years!!! Ive been trying to purchase a new electric wheelchair through Medicare for almost 2 years. They want me to order the wheelchair that they decide for me to have not the wheelchair thats condusive for my body position and needs.
Im reaching out for HELP because i cannot afford a new wheelchair on my own. i would like to continue my independence but if i don't get a wheelchair soon, my independence will cease.
