Raised Garden Beds for Education

Donation protected
Huntsville Leadership's Connect Class 20 will be helping Huntsville Achievement School build raised garden beds. The Connect Class will be providing the labor along with the Huntsville Achievement School family of students, staff and parents.  The financial support is needed to make this project possible!

Mrs. Margaret Speer is the teacher that will be heading this project up for the school. She is going to utilize the beds for both science and math lessons while also using the opportunity to have the students write about what is happening. Huntsville Achievement School moved into the historic former Westlawn Middle School leasing space starting in June of 2017. Since that time the area that they are leasing has been totally renovated inside and out making this a great time to have these raised beds.

We as a school and as a Huntsville Leadership group need your assistance in this and we would be greatly appreciative if you could support us in this endeavor.

Huntsville Achievement is unique in that it has students with high functioning autism, aspergers, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, and other learning differences and those students that just need a smaller learning environment. Huntsville Achievement School has a purpose of creating success stories and changing the world one student at a time! For more information about Huntsville Achievement School go to www.HuntsvilleAchievement.com.

There will need to be wood purchased, mulch, dirt and other items to build the raised beds and to create them so they will be sustainable for years to come.
