Cancer Fundraiser for Gwennie: Short UPDATE:
We are asking for your continued support and help for our sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister in law and friend to help her with her mounting medical expenses while she undergoes treatment for lung cancer. Gwennie is a single mother who raised two children on her own, working in the Asbestos removal industry, building dismantling and construction for more than 20 years. She has worked in conditions that even the men that worked along side her couldn't believe she did. Working in ditches, and dirt, heavy equipment operation etc..,. One of the toughest, most loving people a person could be so blessed to know. Gwennie has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma (Lung Cancer), and is unemployed, paying $800.00 a month just to keep Cobra insurance that does not cover all expenses. Gwennie is the primary care giver to her mother, which makes this challenge before us even more difficult.
Gwen is unable to work as a result of her condition and is going to need all the assistance she can get for medical bills and living expenses. This picture says so much about how scared Gwen is at the battle she faces!!! We pray for healing and Gwennie has handed this all over to God. We ask that you please

UPDATE: Gwen has received two rounds of Chemo, lost her hair but still remains positive... She will have another treatment on January 6th. In her journey so far, she has encountered a partially collapsed long early on as they were doing a needle biopsy. Gwen has also experienced some issues with fluid buildup around the heart causing her to experience quite a bit of pain and the doctors are keeping a close monitor. She is now facing blood clots in the port and there is some concern, but still... remaining positive and not giving up the fight... WE, as a family, want to Thank You all that have and are continuing to support us in this journey!.
