Hello all!
I am reaching out to all of my trusted friends and colleagues to help a dear friend out with a series of unforeseen circumstances that have caused her a great deal of stress and uncertainty. In December 2016, Karen Gruca’s husband suffered a mild stroke while at work, resulting in hospitalization. Shortly thereafter, her husband was placed on unpaid medical leave resulting in a significant gap in income for their family. These financial pressures are on top of all of the stresses related to his health, which have been ongoing.
Since his initial hospitalization in 2016, Karen’s husband has continued to suffer significant health setbacks, 3 stents, a heart attack, a diagnosis of heart failure and thyroid cancer. Throughout these stressful events (which include doctor’s appointments, surgeries, therapies, and consultation with attorneys), Karen has continued to fulfill her job responsibilities at TPAA. As always, she has gone above and beyond what is asked of her.
Since we have all experienced unforeseen circumstances and financial struggles at some point in our lives, I’m hoping that we can all come together and help this family out in their time of need. Any amount you can contribute would be much appreciated. If you know Karen, then you know what a wonderful human being she is and how fortunate we are to count her as part of our TPAA family.
