Hello, our names are Amber and Charles Liljeblad, 22 year old daughter, and 14 year old son of Mr. Gregory J Liljeblad. Our father was diagnosed with terminal stage 4, esophageal cancer just days before christmas.
Since we have found out, he has been in and out of the hospital through out the holidays ongoing different medical procedures. He currently eats through a feeding tube in his stomach, and has a tracheostomy in to breath as well. The original plan was to get him nutritious enough to start chemo after he met with the oncologist in the end of January, however, things don't always work out how you want.
This cancer is very aggressive, and it is far more aggressive than we thought. It has now spread to his liver, and can not be treated. He was given less than 6 months, but we don't know exactly how much time we have left to be with our father, so we cherish each and every single moment like it is the last.
We are asking for help for financial help as I, Amber, have been out of work over a month now to assist with him at home everyday. All of our trips back and forth to hospital. We never hope too soon, but eventually proper ceremony costs. Also, to put away for my little brother Charles when he is of age and needs it.
