Help Girls Robotics Team Goto China

The Green Girls Robotics team (#7190) is an all-girls FTC team. For three years we successfully competed and won FLL awards at the regional and state levels. In 2013 we moved up to First Tech Challenge (FTC). Our team consists of seven soon-to-be 9th grade girls all passionate about STEM and robotics. Last year as 8th graders we advanced through the region, state and super regions. We ended our season by participating in the World Championship as one of 127 teams out of 4500 world wide (top 3% of teams). During the off season we do a lot of community outreach to spread the word about robotics and help fundraise for our season and a trip to Beijing, China to compete and spread the word about robotics. Your donation will help us purchase robot equipment, marketing materials, tools and cover flight, hotel, food and transportation in Beijing.

We are looking to raise $22,000 for China and $18,000 for our 2015-2016 season. Even the smallest donation goes a long way.
