Grant Strong - Help Beth Fight Cancer

Beth Grant is a proud Mom of her two boys, Derek & Ryan, and a loving wife to her husband Rob. The highschool sweethearts got married in 1996 and still live in Durham, CT.
Beth volunteers for her boy's basketball leauge, is an assitant coach for her son Derek's football team, and a long-time lover of softball. As a youth in Durham she went thru many of the athletic programs so she always says "It's my turn to give back to the same athletic programs that helped to mold me into the person I am today."
She was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is an incurable cancer that starts in the plasma cells in the bone marrow. With Multiple Myeloma, plasma cells grow out of control in the bone marrow and form tumors in the areas of solid bone. It most commonly causes anemia, which can lead to fatigue and shortness of breath.
As a group of friends and co-workers of Beth, we started the Grant Strong Fundraiser to help raise donations and support for Beth's fight against Multiple Myeloma.
She is very humbled by her friends, family, co-workers, and outpouring support from random people who have heard her story.
She says: "I now look in the mirror every morning and ask myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to go do today?" There is no reason not to follow my heart. Life is too short. Do not be sad for me - live your life and be happy!"
All proceeds of your kind donation goes to the Grant Strong Fundraiser, supporting Beth's medical expenses, doctors visits, procedures, perscriptions, and future treatments. Thank you!
