Gramma Judy's last call

Donation protected
I would like to start with extending a great thank you to all of our friends and family who have been here for us during these past few years of my mom's fight. I use the term fight, because she truly is a fighter. She is the strongest person I know and I am proud to have had such an amazing mother. She started this fight with 2 aneurysms in November 2012,  one required a Craniotomy, she spent 8 days in ICU on life support fighting to build oxygen levels, she pulled through! About 2 months later she suffered a heart attack requiring 4 stents to be placed in her heart valves, she again, pulled through! A year or so later,  she began to notice severe 'bone pain' in her arm, which was written off as arthritis, fast forward to August 2014 during a hospital stay for shortness of breath and fatigue,  she was diagnosed with Advanced Multiple Myeloma, ( blood cancer) and Kidney failure. We immediately jumped into action again, meeting with more specialists than we could comprehend. She started Dialysis and Chemo and had planned to get strong and return home from the Rehab facilty and eventually drive herself to Dialysis.....
As we all know life never goes as planned, in short. all most of the things that can happen when under these treatments happend.
At a crossroads, too weak to rebound with a quality of life and her body not healthy enough to continue the Chemo, which was stopped a few weeks ago.....
She made the decision  this past Saturday, after clear and careful information from her Kidney Doctor and my brother by her side that she will no longer accept the life sustaining Dailysis. This is a fight her body just won't win she  has went from a svelt 136lbs in August to 79lbs currently.
My mom is comfortable and at peace, even though we struggle, this is her decision.
There is just no more fight.
This is one of the most painful things I have been thru and it saddens me to write this.
As I sit here with tears in my eyes and support from my amazingly strong Maddz, here goes....

There are some things that have not been pre paid as we dig into paperwork, sadly, the cremation.
There is also a fee involved in opening the  Mausoleum, so a portion of her ashes will be placed next to my dad and the other to be spread in Fidalgo Bay, how she loves Anacortes.
All gracious donations, no matter how large or small will be used to assist with the cost of the cremation, in the even that this reaches the goal, our family will be able to tie up some other items, clean out her house, get a storage unit for a short time, and assist with some  costs that we have encoured during this time.
For all of you who know/knew my mom - we thank you in advance. She was a lover of Paso Fino horses, her beloved cats, and of course her family and friends.
However you are able to help is incredibly appreciated, more than words can say.
Blessed be the day she is free to reunite with my dad, her parents and her little brother who passed young from Leukemia.
No words can decribe or express our gratitude.
Update...
Mom, gramma Judy went with God 10/31...
As I tackle her house belongings, and the long list of certified copies of the death certificate, which are $20 each...last count, I need at least 10...
Passing is expensive and I thank everyone who has helped.
Along with her affairs, I am out on a leave from work, with a lower percentage of pay, and trying to keep life as normal as possible for my daughter...
What we really need is funding for death certificates and fuel for my what seems to be endless trips to/from my Mom's house.
Thank you, again.
