Prayers for Gracelynn

Our friends Chris and Tara welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Gracelynn to the world on 10/14/2013. Little did they know the battle they were about to face. Baby Gracelynn had to be care flighted to Cooks children hospital in Dallas due to 2 rare diseases. Tetralogy Fallout and Esophageal Atresia. She had her first surgery on 10/16 to repair her esophagus and has had some complications. If her heart holds up through all of this, she will need open heart surgery as well. Their stay at Cooks will be long term, leaving them in able to work. We're kindly asking for donations to help keep them afloat. Any amount helps even just a $1. Mostly we're asking for prayers and positive thoughts towards baby Gracelynn and her concerned parents. She's a fighter, so lets fight for her! Gracelynn's first surgery was a success!! She is able to eat now from her mouth!! Chris and Tara are beyond excited with this news! She is still under close observation and has a long road ahead of her but for now she is happy with a full belly.
As if they didn't have enough to worry as it is, Chris and Tara had a bit of a set back. Someone broke into their home and stole the maternity leave money they had put back for bills.This family again needs our help! They still plan to be at Cooks Hospital for awhile and out of work and with someone stealing their savings it really put them back. We (many friends of the Young family) are offering different ways you can help them!
-One way is to get your lawn mowed, trim your trees, or other landscaping! Lee Smith with Abilene Landscaping and exterior Design is donating what Chris would make if he was working per each lawn he operates on. [phone redacted]
