Hi, my name is Mark Lindquist. I am 48 years young and a single father of two amazing teenage boys.
Nearly a month shy of 2 years ago I lost my beloved wife to pancreatic cancer.
By the grace of God we managed to survive the devastation, and by forging on I found myself presented with the oportunity to secure a job working for a company i was proud to be a part of, and excited to join.
Tesla hired me in April of 2016.
In this short time myself and my boys healed and grew, and began planning our future.
I found myself in a financial place that i would be able to bring to fruition a lifelong dream of owning a home.
That happened, and 3 months later the doctors told me i have stage 4 colon cancer.
I began chemotherapy late August, and the Dr's are forseeing it lasting through late January.
I have put in for short term disability through Tesla (so grateful for my insurance and the people/family there!),
unfortunately short term disability wont quite cover my little family's living expenses.
So here i am, humbly requesting assistance.
Im staying strong in my faith that the Lord will provide, i know that this is in His hands.
I also know i need to do for myself.
And with your kind support I can see a successful battle, and a future with my boys in our home.
