Sky's 2018 Track and Field Season

Sky is a motivated and focused 8 years old who not only wants to win first place in the 2018 Junior Olympics races that she qualifies for but she wants to break records!
She came pretty close in 2017! She was second in the 1500 meter race for a Silver medal and 13th for the 400 meter race.
We were disapponted that she was disqaulified in the 800 meter race after coming in first overall for changing coming over too soon. She says it is a learning experience and that she will not lose like that again.

She is the Female Athlete of the Year for the Goulds Panthers Track Club as well!
Another proud moment for me is that her grades have improved to A's, B's and C's. She wants to focus on all A's and B's by the end of the next grading period.
As a single parent I will need help to ensure she has her chance at all of her goals and I'm still not to proud to ask for help when it's needed.
