Transition Funds for George Powell’s release

George Powell is a wrongfully convicted Actually Innocent man from Bell Count, in the state of Texas. His case has been overturned and he is being sent back to Bell County to await a new trial. Hopefully, he can return home on bond. That is quite an undertaking for a man who has been behind bars for over a decade.

Upon his imminent release, George will come home with nothing. 

Nothing but his freedom, that is. And with that freedom, he expects to hit the ground running, building a business he has envisioned for many years. 

We are raising funds for George to begin his life as a free man. His goal is to start his fencing company when he comes home  and he will need the following:
