Fund for family car

On Christmas night, I was on the way home, down a long dark road with no street lights, when a dog darted in front of my car. In efforts to avoid hitting it, I veered into what should have been just a grassy area but was an illegally parked car marked “for sale”. Luckily, I was able to (barely) walk away with no broken bones, slight internal bleeding that thankfully clotted itself, and a body full of bruises. Though, I am so thankful as I know it could have been much worse, my car which I just financed in March, is totaled. I’ve been back and forth with the insurance and car company but they told me my gap insurance was never “applied” to my contract, even though I would have never driven a car off the lot without it. Not only will I be upside down on my car, I have no money for a new one and have not been able to work since the accident and am still in pain. I’m at a loss at the moment... I have two daughters 11 & 7 years old. My oldest is an honor roll student on the basketball team and my youngest having Aspergers & ADHD and I am their only parent. Like most of the country, we’ve been struggling through the Covid-19 pandemic and have been helping take care of my mother who just had open-heart surgery. I am and always have been the sole provider for my children and am one of the proudest, hard-working people you could meet but for my daughters and our family, we truly need help. If there is any financial help that anyone is willing to offer, my daughters and myself will give it back 10 fold to the world once I get back on my feet, I promise. Thank you for your time
