ISRAEL Pilgrimage Trip

"Hear, O Israel, you are approaching the battle against your enemies today. Do not be fainthearted. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble before them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." (Deut. 20:3-4)

It has been utterly amazing to hear how the Lord Almighty continues to aid Israel in all of it's conflicts, ever since it has regained it's land.  It proves that the Lord continues to consider Israel His "firstborn."  I truly believe it.  Many stories throughout the years, even recent stories, have made me more interested in Israel as a nation and how the Lord is orchestrating His good in and through there.  With that said, I would like to invite you to an opportunity to partner with me financially and prayerfully towards a personal pilgrimage in seeking the Lord in the Holy Land of Israel.

It's my desire to go with an organization called Genesis Tours.  I would be travelling with a handful people I know and love, from REMEDY (my college-age and young adults ministry that I have the priviledge of co-leading) and Lighthouse Wesleyan Church (a partnering church of REMEDY).  The trip is from October 17-27th.  It's a 10-day tour to many different places of Israel, from the City of Gold itself, Jerusalem, to the Kidron Valley, to the Sea of Galilee, and many other places.  I LOVE travel, and I LOVE the people I am travelling with.  But what speaks volumes to me is being able to BE in and at the places where Jesus walked.  I have heard it's where your Sunday School stories come to life. But for me, I want this experience to be a personal investment in my ability to teach, preach, and share God's love in a more tangible way in and through all my ministries.  I know God can do this in me without going, however, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I believe God is calling me to do NOW and not wait, especially with the people that are going.

I have already saved up a little less than half of what I need for the trip.  It costs a total of $3,795 which includes everything (airfare, room, board, touring costs, entrance fees, etc.).  I'm looking to completely fund my trip through "go fund me," but the thing is I need to have all funds to me by the end of August.  My check to the touring organization needs to be in by Sept. 1st!  That leaves about a month to raise the money that is needed, and I would greatly appreciate ANY help you are willing to give.  Bottom line is, I KNOW God will send me there if He so desires.  I TRUST in Him in this.  I am not worried or anxious at all!  He has been sooo good to me my whole life!  He has blessed me with all of you!

If you would like to pray for me, PRAY.  If you would like to give, GIVE.  If you would like to do both, PLEASE, by all means, do BOTH.  But know that I appreciate any kind of help you can give.
