Mouhamed Ndoye Fundraiser

On the 15th of February my 12 year old son Mohamed was on his way to Walnut Hills High School when he was hit by a car. My son was crossing the street to catch his morning bus when a driver pulled around from behind the bus and struck him in the middle of the street.

Mohamed sustained brain injuries and was in a coma for over  a month. Mohamed is currently in a minimally conscious state and we are hoping and praying for miracles. Mohamed has a feeding and a tracheostomy tube and is getting certain therapies that will help him get better.
Mouhamed's doctors at Cincinnati Children's Hospital told me that my son will never talk or walk again. In an instant, his life was changed and his destiny altered. But he is alive so I am grateful. My son will need round the clock care, he will need a wheelchair, a wheelchair ramp, a handicap accessible bathroom and van.

Prior to his accident, my son- the youngest and only boy of my 4 children was the light of our life. My son's contagious smile and genuine laughter always entered a room before he did. My son was a kind boy who dreamt of growing up to be a computer scientist AND the next Lebron James. His tenacity and dedication to his dreams made us all believe that one day, we'd all be cheering him on as he accepted college degrees and scored baskets. This year, he finally made it to his school's basketball team and his happiness knew no bound.

It pains me a great deal to be asking for help for my son, but as his mother I am desperate for support in this fight my whole entire family finds itself in. A fight we are willing to face, but can't afford to do on our own. We are asking for your help to cover Mohamed's medical needs in this very unfortunate situation.
Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your donations. In a moment like this, any contribution makes a difference.

UPDATE: Mohamed has been home for two months now. He’s doing really well and he’s still recovering. He’s still in need of a van to go to and from his therapy appointments.
