Hi everyone! Our names are Julianne de Kloet and Stella Eide. We are students at the International School of Hilversum, and in February 2025 we are both going on a school trip to Kenya! We are specifically visiting a school called "Vision 'C' Academy" in Ongata Rongai, located in the Outskirts of Nairobi. At this school, we will contribute in various ways like buying and providing school materials, teaching, and doing practical volunteer work, henceforth improving the children's education. Children in this school do not have enough supplies and resources to get the education they deserve, therefore we as students get to help this school become a better place for them. There are also too many students, for the learning space provided, therefore this fundraising also goes towards the construction of more classrooms of higher standards. If this is something which you are interested in supporting, we, and not only us, but the Kenyan children, would be thrilled by your donation. Lastly, we have come up with the creative idea of writing down the names of everyone who donates, and ultimately, we will frame it and hang it up in the school, to demonstrate that each and every one of you, has contributed to making Academy C a better place. After the trip, we want to share the experience with you all, and for you to see what it is that you have donated towards. The Christmas season has come around and it is the season to be giving, so think about the less fortunate. We are looking forwards to your donations, and we are ready to make a difference!
