My name is Levi Rodgers. I am a Combat Wounded & Retired Army Green Beret. I now own a very succesful Real Estate Company in San Antonio, TX, but I have not lost my desire to help, to serve our country, and to protect others. This campaign has nothing to do with business; it is entirely about helping those who could use some help.
With the devastation in Houston, as well as so many other of our other Texan cities in Hurricane Harvey’s path, me and my company decided that we had to do something. We had to contribute in some way. We sat around brainstorming, and came up with these Bug Out Bags. The idea is to help not only those in need, but also those who are helping those in need: our First Responders, Military, the National Guardsmen, the Police, the Firefighters, and the private citizens who are volunteering their time for this cause, and putting themselves into harm’s way to help others.
What are Bug Out Bags? They are backpacks full of essential items. We are putting in everything we can think of that someone might need, or might give them a smile. We have been including supplies such as: bug spray, aspirin, food/snacks, water, soap, hand sanitizer, towels, tape, personal hygiene goods, batteries, socks, blankets, etc… Things to keep our heroes dry. Things to keep our heroes healthy. Things to keep our heroes motivated.
Many people have brought supplies into our office, and to them, we are so grateful! Together we are so much stronger, and can help so many more people! A number of people have requested that we create a Go Fund Me page to make contributing even easier. Not everyone has time to go to the store; we certainly understand that!
Whether you can give $1, $1,000, or anything in between, we hope that you will support this cause. Every single dollar helps, and every single dollar makes a difference. 100% of the funds donated to this campaign will go directly to those who will benefit from them.
Your donation is tax deductible.
Thank you for your generosity, and for supporting this effort to help those affected by this tragedy.
We will be bringing our first shipment of Go Bags to Houston on Monday, September 4th , then plan to go again shortly thereafter.
Your support would mean so much to us, but more importantly, it will show those affected by this tragedy that there are so many who are thinking about them and sending love their way.
Thank you SO MUCH for your time and support!
